WHAT IS CROSSFIT?

CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program built around constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensity.

At Mecka, that means:

  • Barbell strength work (squats, deadlifts, presses)

  • Conditioning workouts (short, intense efforts)

  • Gymnastics/bodyweight movements (pull-ups, push-ups, core work)

Every class follows a structured program designed to help you get stronger, move better, and improve over time.

Every workout is scalable, meaning it’s adjusted to your level—so you can train safely and effectively no matter where you’re starting.

EACH CLASS FOLLOWS A STRUCTURED FORMAT:

WHAT TO EXPECT IN CLASS

  1. Warm-Up – Prep your body for movement

  2. Strength or Skill Work – Focus on technique and building strength

  3. Workout of the Day (WOD) – A short, intense conditioning piece

  4. Cool Down – Recover and reset

Some workouts are fast and intense. Some are longer and paced. All are designed with purpose.

Dylan is the head coach and lead programmer behind CrossFit at Mecka—bringing structure, intention, and long-term vision to every workout.

His approach to programming is built around progression. Each cycle is designed to help you get stronger, move better, and see measurable results over time. Nothing is random—every lift, every workout, and every phase has a purpose.

As a coach, Dylan is focused, detail-oriented, and invested in helping every athlete improve. He meets you where you are, coaches you through the fundamentals, and pushes you to keep progressing—safely and effectively.

Under Dylan’s guidance, CrossFit at Mecka becomes more than just a workout—it’s a system for getting better.
