8-Week Women Only Strength School
Meet Coach Rachel Battis
Rachel knows firsthand the power of fitness and nutrition to transform lives. After joining CrossFit Mt. Lebanon in 2017, she experienced radical changes in her own health and well-being—fueling her passion for learning the science behind it all. A self-proclaimed nerd, she dove deep into research and, in 2022, turned her knowledge into action by becoming a coach.
Her philosophy? Getting older doesn’t have to mean slowing down. She believes strength and proper nutrition are key to aging well, staying active, and thriving in life. Rachel is dedicated to helping others build sustainable habits so they can move, feel, and live better—at any age
Why women love lifting.
Kallie E.
Biocompatibility Engineer
"I love feeling capable and confident, achieving new goals, and challenging stereotypes. I especially find joy in (olympic) weightlifting and think it is such a brilliant blend of strength and technique (tbh the pinnacle of athleticism). I’ve been obsessed for the last 10 years and it never gets old because there’s always something new to achieve in the sport."
Rose
Retired. Former Teacher
" I choose how to spend my time and working out is my choice so I always make the most of it. It's the best insurance I have. "
Becki
Assistant Manager
"I love that I’m constantly challenging myself. I’ve been working out and doing strength training for a year and in that time, I have seen my confidence in myself and my abilities grow significantly. I’ve stopped judging myself based on how much I can lift or how many reps I can do, and instead look at all the progress I’ve made and continue to make."
