WHAT IS HYBRID RACE CLASS?
Hybrid Race Class is a coach-led training class that blends endurance and strength using a race-style format.
You’ll move through:
Run intervals
Functional workout stations like sled pushes, rowing, lunges, and more
Each class is designed to simulate the flow of a hybrid race—helping you build the strength, stamina, and confidence to take on longer, more demanding workouts.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN CLASS
Warm-Up – Prep your body for both running and lifting
Run + Station Intervals – Alternate between running and functional movements
Longer Effort Pieces – Build endurance and pacing
Finisher (sometimes ) – One last push
Cool Down – Recover and reset

Meet Derrick
Derrick is the driving force behind Hybrid Race Class. As the programmer of the class—and the mind behind the Mecka Hybrid Great Race—he knows exactly what it takes to build real endurance, strength, and performance.
With a strong background in running and a passion for hybrid-style training (including Hyrox-style workouts), Derrick brings a unique edge to every session. His programming is intentional, challenging, and designed to help you push your limits while building the capacity to go longer and stronger.
You’ll also find him coaching BodyLab, bringing that same energy, structure, and attention to detail across the board.
